Securing the right surety bond can be essential to keep your project or business moving forward. It serves as a financial guarantee that the principal (typically the contractor or company) will fulfill their obligations as outlined in the bond, and has become a requirement for many contractors doing business with government entities.
At Higginbotham in Mobile, our team has experience guiding contractors, businesses and sole proprietors through the bonding process. We support a wide range of surety bond needs, including:
Whether you’re working on a complex construction job or need protection against employee dishonesty, our goal is to simplify the bonding process and provide responsive service at every step.
At Higginbotham, we believe your personal insurance should evolve with you. Our team in Mobile helps individuals and families to find coverage that fits their lifestyle, assets and stage of life – from buying a first home to planning for retirement.
We get to know your needs, and then we build a personal insurance program that aims to reduce coverage gaps and simplify your protection. With access to a wide range of insurance carriers and policy options, we’re here to support you through every chapter of life.
Owning high-value property and assets often comes with complex insurance needs. Higginbotham’s private client insurance services are tailored to help protect high-value homes, luxury vehicles, vacation homes, fine jewelry, classic cars, art collections, yachts and more.
We work with insurance carriers that specialize in high-net-worth coverage to help create personalized solutions that reflect your lifestyle and risk profile. Our dedicated team offers attentive, year-round service to help support your long-term protection and peace of mind.
Providing employee benefits is more than just offering coverage – it’s about helping your people feel supported. At Higginbotham in Mobile, our local team is here to help you deliver benefits that reflect your workforce’s needs while aligning with your business goals.
With the resources of a national firm and the personal service of a hometown partner, we help employers navigate plan design, compliance and long-term benefits strategies with care and clarity. Our team can also work with your existing insurance providers to help enhance your benefits offering without starting from scratch.
Higginbotham can help employers turn their existing health insurance plan or other group policies into a self-funded program without needing to change insurance providers. A self-funded strategy may offer greater control over plan design, claims management and long-term cost-containment – all while keeping the insurer that your employees are already familiar with.
Our team in Mobile can help evaluate whether a self-funded benefit captive aligns with your business goals, and, if it does, we’ll guide you through the transition to a more flexible funding model.
A strong employee benefits offering requires more than just selecting the right plans – it also demands ongoing service and support to help keep your program effective year-round. That’s why Higginbotham’s Day Two Services® are built to assist both employers and employees long after open enrollment ends.
Our in-house benefit services are designed to help reduce your HR team’s administrative burden, boost employee engagement and support your organization’s long-term benefits strategy.
Professional services of this caliber are typically available only through multiple vendors, but Higginbotham can perform a variety of functions in a seamless, coordinated effort with your own human resource initiatives. Our value-added services include:
At Higginbotham in Mobile, we bring together local insights and broad capabilities to help protect what matters most to our clients – whether that’s a growing business, a personal legacy or the well-being of their team.
