McCrary Otts

McCrary Otts is a Managing Director at Higginbotham. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1999. He served as an assistant mutual fund manager in Nashville before returning home to Mobile in 2002.

As Managing Director, McCrary delivers property and casualty insurance to businesses and individuals throughout Alabama. McCrary has honed his expertise in bond production throughout the Southeast, particularly within the construction industry. His extensive knowledge, steadfast commitment to customer service and strong ties to the community make him a go-to resource.

McCrary’s engagement with the Mobile community is extensive and includes service as president and board member for the Mobile Association of Independent Insurance Agents, board member for the Associated Builders & Contractors, Chamber Chase team member for the Mobile Chamber of Commerce, committee member for the Home Builders Association of Metro Mobile, and executive for the United Way of Southwest Alabama. He is also a past board member of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children, Virginia, Mac and Ella, and are members of the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
