Teresa Smith brings more than three decades of experience in commercial insurance products to the Higginbotham team.
She began her career at the Barry Insurance Agency, moving up the ranks from receptionist to personal lines account manager, followed by roles in commercial lines account management and sales. Teresa purchased the agency in 2004 and joined Higginbotham in 2019. Now, as Managing Director at Higginbotham’s Texarkana office, Teresa specializes in property insurance, general liability, business auto, workers’ compensation, surety bonds and employee benefits.
Teresa is active in the community, serving on the Texarkana Wilbur Smith Rotary Club and the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee for more than three consecutive years.
