Skip Roberts II

As a Managing Director at Higginbotham, Skip Roberts focuses on cultivating sales and managing accounts for nonprofits, churches, financial institutions, manufacturing and delivery service industries. He joined Higginbotham in 2023 through its partnership with his former agency, Byars Wright, bringing nearly five decades of industry experience and specialized knowledge in rating systems and solutions for commercial insurance.

Skip earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1984. He later earned a degree in business cybersecurity from UA’s Culverhouse College of Business in 2022. He is also an inaugural recipient of the Risk Management Certification for Churches and Schools from the International Examination Board of Cambridge University.

A longtime industry leader, Skip has served on the Penn National Insurance Company State Agents Council and the Insurance/Audit Committee for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He currently serves as a board member of GuideOne National Agents Advisory Board.
