Chas Dummit

Chas Dummit joined Higginbotham in 2011 and quickly moved through the leadership ranks. In his current role as Managing Director, he has been instrumental in creating innovative and cost-effective employee benefit solutions for employers across nearly every business sector.

These solutions include advanced primary care, clinically based care navigation, RX alternative sourcing and claim payment integrity. Chas was one of the first advisors to introduce HealthJoy, a leading care navigation platform, to the Texas market in 2018, and is a key member of the joint operating committee leading Higginbotham’s Stop-Loss Center of Excellence for level-funded, self-funded and captive clients.

Chas regularly consults on key account services like enrollment, employee communications and population health management, encouraging his peers and clients to pursue creative avenues that bring the most value while never compromising on quality. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business/corporate communications and was a pre-med student at the University of Texas at Austin.
