Michael Mooney

The insurance industry may have changed since Mike Mooney began his career more than 30 years ago, but his approach to success hasn’t wavered: provide more than an insurance policy to clients, create access to products, help mitigate their risk and serve them continuously throughout the year.

Mike Mooney specializes in the insurance needs of newly franchised auto dealers and heavy equipment distributors. He has an appreciation for and understanding of the industry’s nuances and knows the importance of relationship-building and claims management to his clients. Mike strives to demonstrate his commitment to his clients’ peace of mind by educating them in safety and loss prevention initiatives to help control and reduce the cost of risk.

Mike worked at John Deere Insurance for 15 years before being recruited by Gulf States Toyota and ultimately joining Higginbotham in 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management from the University of Texas at Austin.
