Lin Moore

Lin Moore, a native of Tuscaloosa, has more than 30 years of industry experience, encompassing roles at a leading national carrier, a wholesale broker and as an owner of Pritchett-Moore Insurance, which partnered with Higginbotham in 2023.

Known for his extensive knowledge and collaborative leadership style by his colleagues and clients, Lin also shares his time and talents to benefit his community. In 2023, he celebrated a 25-year tenure as chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Tuscaloosa’s Housing Authority and shifted his focus to roles with the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Clubs of West Alabama and the Home Builders Association of Tuscaloosa.

Lin’s philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed. Lin was named the 2018 Tuscaloosa County Citizen of the Year by the Tuscaloosa Civitan Club, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama in 2010 and was honored as the Charles Land Member of the Year in 2005.

The University of Alabama alum is a member of the University’s President’s Cabinet, the Commerce Executive Society and the Alabama Alumni Association. Lin and his wife, Sharon, and their daughter, McLean, are active members of Christ Episcopal Church.
