John Springrose

At Higginbotham, John Springrose helps manage the aviation insurance practice’s book of business, oversees carrier and client relations and identifies solutions for the complex risks of the aviation industry. His extensive experience in underwriting and finance roles at AIG and Cessna Aircraft Company, coupled with his degrees in aerospace science and economics, allows him to deliver unparalleled insight and guidance to his clients.

John became part of the firm upon Higginbotham’s 2018 partnership with Colt Risk Management Services, an agency that catered to the insurance needs of the aviation industry. In addition to his sales role, he serves as an advisor to other Higginbotham associates.

Outside of the office, John serves on the Board of Directors for Texas Aviators and the Scholarship Committee for the South Texas Business Aviation Association. Both organizations support students seeking careers in aviation. John is also an active member of the National Business Aviation Association.
