John Collins

John Collins is an employee benefits broker and consultant with more than 20 years of experience in health and welfare plan management. He assists clients in the key areas of renewal analysis, carrier negotiations, account services, financial and claims analysis, regulatory compliance and plan design. Higginbotham named John a Managing Director in 2008 in recognition of his outstanding customer service practices.

John began his career as a management consultant for a global accounting firm. Prior to joining Higginbotham in 2000, he served as CFO of Twin Oaks Medical Center, Director of Finance for Harris Methodist Select, a large physician organization, and Director of Client Services for the Harris Methodist Health Plan.
