Jeff Sargeant

For over a quarter of a century, Jeff Sargeant has protected clients in western Ohio with insurance coverage spanning personal, commercial, agribusiness, life and employee benefits needs.

He founded Community Insurance Group in 1995 and quickly assembled a team of insurance leaders who shared his work ethic and commitment to listening to and acting upon the unique needs of his clients. In 2023, Community Insurance Group partnered with Higginbotham, allowing Jeff to expand his service offering and deliver upon economies of scale for cost control.

Jeff previously served as Director of Peoples Federal Savings and Loan Association, which has since merged into F&M Bank. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).
