Jeannette Blanton-Monnat

Jeannette Blanton began her insurance career in 1983 as an account manager at a large firm in Dallas, Texas. In 1987, she became a commercial insurance agent and then formed her own agency in 1990.

Today, Jeannette is a Managing Director and leads Higginbotham’s pool and spa specialty practice. She specializes in mid-size to large commercial construction accounts. Jeannette meets with clients and prospects to understand their operations, enabling her to advise them on the appropriate coverages and risk management techniques for their specific business and operations.

As an Airbnb owner and home remodeler, Jeannette understands the insurance needs of those she serves. When approached by the President of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals to assist in creating a program for the pool and spa industry in 2001, Jeannette stepped up to the task and has been the preferred insurance provider for the association for more than two decades. She is a trusted advisor to the underwriters and account managers who serve these clients and clients in other industries.

Jeannette joined Higginbotham in 2017 and has leveraged the firm’s expanded solutions to best serve her clients.

When she’s not hard at work, Jeannette enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling, restoring antiques, interior designing and decorating.
