James Lee is a highly experienced commercial insurance agent specializing in the oil and gas, construction and transportation industries. Based in Houston, he provides guidance on policies that protect against property damage and personal liability, acting as an integral extension of his clients’ risk management teams. James is committed to proactively educating his clients on market trends and sourcing tailored, cost-effective solutions that minimize financial impact and deliver exceptional ongoing support.

Throughout his years at Higginbotham, James has demonstrated his leadership and expertise, advancing rapidly from associate to Vice President, then Executive Vice President, and ultimately to his current role as Managing Director.

Before transitioning into the insurance industry, James spent nearly a decade as a construction manager with Wood Group Mustang, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. James holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He is actively involved in his local community, supporting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Fort Bend Youth Football League.
