Evan Douglas

Evan Douglas is an insurance and risk management consultant with expertise in designing and implementing custom insurance solutions for clients in industries such as energy, marine, construction and commercial real estate. With more than nine years of experience, he has helped his clients navigate complex risk landscapes across a variety of sectors.

Evan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. After five years in the consumer-packaged goods space, he completed his MBA at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School in 2019, which served as his springboard into the insurance industry. He joined Higginbotham shortly after graduating from Texas A&M.

During his time with the firm, Evan has contributed to several professional and charitable organizations, including the Houston Apartment Association (HAA), the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and the Independent Insurance Charitable Foundation (IICF). He is also involved with the Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference (HMEIC).
