Eric Ramsey

Eric Ramsey is an Executive Vice President at Higginbotham, where he has helped lead the firm’s aviation insurance specialty practice since 2020. He brings valuable industry experience from previous roles as an aviation underwriter with Old Republic Aerospace and Hallmark Financial Services.

Eric specializes in crafting customized insurance and risk management solutions for a broad spectrum of aviation clients, including aircraft owners, operators, ground service providers and manufacturers. He helps clients to stay protected and confident in the air by simplifying complex insurance and risk strategies. His Texas General Lines Agent and Surplus Lines Broker licenses further enable him to provide comprehensive representation that addresses each client’s unique needs.

Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation science from Baylor University and an associate’s degree in air traffic control from Texas State Technical College. He also holds an FAA Private Pilot Certificate and a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) rating.

Outside of work, Eric serves on the boards of the South Texas Business Aviation Association (STXBAA) and the South Texas Professional Aviation Maintenance Association.
