Tyler McDonald

As an associate at Higginbotham, Tyler McDonald focuses on building relationships with new clients and supporting existing ones. He believes that while anyone can provide a good insurance quote, what truly sets a provider apart is service – listening, treating people well and adding value beyond the policy. Tyler’s goal is to be the best partner a business could ask for in insurance and risk mitigation.

Before joining Higginbotham in 2019, Tyler worked at State Farm, earning his insurance license as a high school senior. He graduated from McNeese State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, all while managing a full-time insurance career and welcoming his first child.

Tyler is married with two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and volunteering at his church.
