Timothy Engelbert

As part of the Higginbotham Financial team, Tim Engelbert helps individuals and business owners preserve the value of their success and plan for their families’ futures. He has over four decades of experience as a licensed life insurance agent and holds the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designation, as well as Series 6 and 63 licenses.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska in 1984, Tim began his insurance career, spending several decades as an account executive at The Dike Company, which merged with Higginbotham in 2017.

Tim’s professional affiliations include membership in the Fort Worth Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and past board membership in the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is an active member of Finseca, Partners Financial/NFP, a partner of Texas Financial Partners and a past owner of Lion Street.

Tim has served on the boards of the Knights of Columbus, the Sierra Club of Fort Worth and the Board of Governors at the Fort Worth Club. He is also a founding board member of the nonprofit Investing in Others’ Greatness (IOG).

Tim lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and is father to three children, Colin, Kyle and Cami.
