Scott Kirkpatrick

Scott Kirkpatrick is a Managing Director, bringing decades of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Higginbotham in 2013 through its partnership with Talon Insurance Agency.

Scott’s approach to client service is rooted in long-term relationship building. He believes that providing the highest level of service and always being accessible to his clients is key to earning their trust. His dedication to this philosophy has helped him develop lasting partnerships throughout his career.

A graduate of Baylor University, Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity during his time at Baylor.

Before joining Higginbotham, Scott spent eight years as a Senior Account Representative at Employers Casualty Co./NGA. He then worked at Employers General Insurance Group for 24 years before transitioning to Higginbotham.

Outside of the office, he is actively involved in his community, volunteering with the nonprofit Living Alternatives/Father Heart Ministry. He has also worked with the First Tee of Greater Tyler as a coach. Scott has been married to his wife, Becky, for over 40 years. He has four children and 10 grandchildren.
