Morgon Duke

Morgon Duke is Higginbotham’s Practice Leader and Advisor for Churches & Ministries, a benefits strategist and a pastor who advises faith-based organizations from the inside.

Currently a lay elder at a large multi-site church and a former staff pastor, Morgon has sat on the leadership side of hard benefits decisions and walked with families through illness and crisis.

He doesn’t translate the client’s world; he lives in it.

After a family health crisis revealed how even a “good” plan can fail when it matters most, Morgon saw how many ministries carry coverage built for someone else’s workforce — generic plans that quietly drain budgets and leave staff exposed. He partners with church and ministry leaders to change that, building strategies that treat coverage as an extension of care, not just a budget line.

Morgon also serves as Chief of Staff for the Employee Benefits practice, partnering with leadership to marry strategy and execution.
