Mike Bateman

With more than 30 years of sales experience, Mike Bateman is known by his colleagues as an influential agent for positive change. He is skilled in cultivating relationships built on respect, trust and communication, and is highly regarded for his approachable leadership style.

As Higginbotham’s Managing Director of Sales, Mike leads the firm’s sales strategy, setting annual goals and driving productivity while managing training initiatives, new partner sales orientation and sales leadership meetings. In addition to these duties, Mike maintains a portfolio encompassing commercial insurance clients in real estate, manufacturing and health care.

Before joining Higginbotham in 2003, Mike was a regional sales manager for a retail company serving the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is active in his community, supporting the Bill Glass Behind the Walls prison ministry, Highland Country Fellowship and Habitat for Humanity.
