Marcus Eagan

Marcus Eagan is a Managing Partner at Higginbotham. He joined Higginbotham through its partnership with Eagan Insurance in 2024 and, in this leadership role, is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving growth and ensuring high-quality client service. Before becoming Managing Partner, he served as a Managing Director and a Vice President at Eagan Insurance, helping to develop and expand the company to provide personal and commercial insurance solutions for those in the greater New Orleans area.

Marcus attended the College of Charleston, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. During his time there, he was awarded Collegiate All-American three times. Marcus continues to share his passion for sports by volunteering with the Miracle League in his community, helping children with disabilities enjoy sports and develop relationships on the field.

Outside of the office, Marcus enjoys sailing. He has received numerous sailing awards, including 18-time National Sailing Champion, 5-time World Sailing Champion and finalist for the Rolex Sailor of the Year. Marcus lives near New Orleans with his wife and children.
