Matthew Purke

Matthew is a property and casualty insurance broker at Higginbotham. He partners with clients to navigate risk, manage their policies, and build strong relationships, all while keeping communication clear and education a top priority. He brings three years of property and casualty experience from Marsh McLennan Agency, where he specialized in residential construction.

By treating client relationships as true partnerships, Matthew delivers measurable value for both his clients and Higginbotham. He is dedicated to safeguarding his clients’ goals and giving them the confidence to pursue opportunities, knowing they are fully protected.

A proud graduate of Texas Christian University, Matthew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2022. He also spent more than 10 years playing professional baseball, including two and a half years in the MLB for the Washington Nationals, Chicago White Sox and the New York Mets.

Matthew is married to a fellow TCU graduate, and they have three daughters. His family bleeds purple and proudly cheers on the Horned Frogs whenever they can. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, hunting and fishing, and volunteers as an assistant varsity baseball coach for Southwest Christian High School in Fort Worth.
