Mark Hilliard

Mark Hilliard serves as a Managing Director at Higginbotham, bringing in over 40 years of expertise in the insurance industry. Since joining the company in 2015, Mark has utilized his extensive knowledge to support clients of all sizes, particularly large, complex accounts.

Specializing in the construction sector, Mark partners closely with homebuilders, general contractors, specialty trade contractors and businesses that support the industry. He is a trusted resource for developing risk management strategies and tailored insurance solutions that enable effective contractual risk transfer and reduce construction defect exposure.

Before his tenure at Higginbotham, Mark dedicated 30 years to serving clients at a major national broker and a specialty underwriting company. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1982, with concentrations in finance, economics and marketing.

Mark continues to be a leader in risk management and insurance solutions. He attributes much of his success to the collaborative culture at Higginbotham, where he provides single-source solutions and shares the Higginbotham difference.

Outside of work, Mark has been happily married to his best friend and partner, Cyndi, for over 40 years.
