Larry Davis

Larry Davis is a Forest and Wood Products Insurance Practice Leader with over 50 years of experience. He currently handles several fourth-generation logging contractors and continues to grow his client base in the industry. Larry takes pride in using his expertise to place coverage for each account, whether for a brand-new business or a multigenerational operation, to help protect their investments.

After receiving his insurance license at the age of 16, Larry joined his dad in a mom-and-pop personal lines agency in 1972. The agency quickly expanded to all lines of insurance. In 1992, Larry authored the wording for WC codes 6219, Fully Mechanized Logging, and 2719, Partially Mechanized Logging. With the help of the Texas Logging Council, it was passed before the Texas Department of Insurance, helping to save Texas contractors millions in insurance premiums.
