Kimberly Kilpatrick

Kim Kilpatrick is a Managing Director at Higginbotham. She brings decades of experience and deep industry knowledge to her clients and colleagues. Her insurance career began at age 22 as a property adjuster with GAB. From there, she transitioned into underwriting, first in personal insurance, then commercial, with Unitrin.

In 1994, Kim joined her family’s business, Kilpatrick Insurance Agency, which was founded by her grandfather in 1944. She purchased the agency from her father and led it through significant growth, more than doubling its size during her tenure.

In 2017, Kim decided to partner with Higginbotham, calling it the best decision of her professional life. Today, she continues to specialize in commercial insurance while mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. She is passionate about educating clients on their coverage options and taking time to ensure that they feel confident and protected.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas Christian University, where she was also a proud golf team member.

Beyond her professional role, Kim gives back to the community, actively supporting Wheels for Wellness, which provides free prostate cancer screenings and helps save lives every year.
