As a voluntary benefits consultant at Higginbotham, Joseph helps other Higginbotham associates and clients expand their accounts with voluntary benefit options that can help employees cover deductibles and other expenses during times of need. When working with clients, he starts with the “why,” focusing on identifying the true need and the most effective way to address it. He believes that by doing what’s right, the right solutions will follow.
Before joining Higginbotham, Joseph spent three years as an area VP at Allstate and 13 years at The Standard. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University.
Joseph has been married for more than 14 years, and together, he and his wife have five children. The whole family participates in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and shares a goal of visiting all 50 states, with their oldest having already checked off 20. In his free time, Joseph coaches youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling at All American MMA.
