Jennifer Rector

Jennifer Rector is Vice President, Employee Benefits at Higginbotham. She brings extensive experience in employee benefits, having built her career as an account manager and sales associate before stepping into her current leadership role. She joined the firm through its partnership with The Hilb Group and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

As a Vice President, Jennifer advises clients on employee benefits strategy and risk management, serving as a true partner across every stage of the client relationship. She is known for her tenacity and resourcefulness, and when she doesn’t have an answer, she finds one, bringing that same problem-solving mindset to her clients, whether as a trusted advisor or an advocate in the community.

Her commitment to service extends well beyond the office. Jennifer actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, the Mother Teresa Shelter, Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, the Salvation Army, Flags for Heroes and the Coastal Bend Food Bank. She is also an active member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

Jennifer and her husband are raising six children together as a blended family, and she is deeply intentional about instilling a servant’s heart in each of them. That spirit led her to participate in a Higginbotham mission trip to Arise Africa, an experience she found so meaningful that she brought her 15-year-old son along. She currently sponsors two children through the Arise Africa program and remains inspired by the life-changing work the organization and Higginbotham continue to support.
