Jeffrey Torda

Jeff Torda joined Higginbotham in 2016 to support carrier relations within the commercial insurance division. He quickly moved up the ranks to Vice President of Business and Contingency Insurance; today, he serves as Managing Director for that team. In this role, Jeff helps specialty businesses, particularly within the entertainment industry, achieve their goals, mitigate risks with event cancellation and non-appearance coverage and optimize their businesses.

For international placements, Jeff is a go-to resource for his Higginbotham teammates. He spent six months in London in 2022 to gain an in-depth understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market and now helps Higginbotham associates navigate the complexities of the global insurance market, including risk transfer solutions, risk analysis, benchmarking and claims consulting.

Jeff volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County. He graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in Spanish.
