James Hubbard

James Hubbard is a Managing Director and public sector practice leader who advises and assists other Higginbotham associates on government and educational institution accounts. He is known for his steadfast commitment to always doing what’s in the best interest of his clients.

A lifelong resident of Texas, James is intimately familiar with the Texas marketplace and served two terms as Wise County commissioner. As commissioner, James set budget and tax policies, overseeing the county’s public works, human services, community development and recreation programs, gaining a unique insight into the challenges faced by public entities. Today, he shares that knowledge with his team so they can identify the best coverage and pricing solutions for their clients.

Before joining Higginbotham in 2008, James worked at Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.
