Gabe Clement

Gabe Clement joined Higginbotham in 2023 through a partnership with Byars|Wright and focuses on addressing the unique insurance needs of the construction industry. In addition to his sales responsibilities, Gabe plays a key leadership role, overseeing office production and managing his team’s sales efforts while mentoring new team members. His leadership is widely recognized, with many colleagues praising his dedication to their success—he pushes them to be their best because he genuinely cares about their growth as individuals. This natural leadership extends beyond work as Gabe also coaches his church basketball league.

Gabe began his insurance career as a loss control representative at Nationwide Agribusiness and quickly moved to Byars|Wright Insurance Agency where his talents for commercial insurance and bonding blossomed and he honed his focus on the construction industry. In 2023, he was promoted to President of the firm and concurrently assumed the role of Managing Partner at Higginbotham. With over a decade of experience, Gabe is known for his extensive knowledge and commitment to service excellence, making him a trusted partner and valued colleague.

A graduate of Auburn University with a degree in agricultural economics, Gabe is also an executive board member of the Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, cooking, golfing, and is an avid supporter of all Auburn sports. Gabe is married with one child.
