David Fishel

As Chief Growth Officer, David leads Higginbotham’s Corporate Business Development team, steering the firm toward new opportunities and forging valuable partnerships to expand the company’s profile and reach. He tracks emerging markets and trends to shape Higginbotham’s long-term objectives and help the firm achieve its goals.

As part of the Corporate Business Development team, David has helped Higginbotham expand its reach beyond the borders of Texas to encompass more than 15 total states across the firm’s footprint.

David completed his higher education journey quickly, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University in 2010, a master’s degree in education from the University of Colorado Denver in 2012 and an MBA from the University of Oregon in 2013. During this time, he also completed a two-year commitment with Teach For America before beginning his career in insurance. In 2014, he joined Talon Insurance Agency to open its Fort Worth office prior to its partnership with Higginbotham.
