Coby James

Coby James serves as a Managing Director at Higginbotham. In his role, Coby is responsible for managing Higginbotham Public Sector associates and producing new business for the firm. Additionally, Coby is responsible for rolling out Higginbotham’s public sector model in several new markets while overseeing revenue growth and creating initiatives that promote growth within Higginbotham Public Sector.

Coby possesses a strong desire to understand his clients’ needs, concerns and goals, and provide viable solutions that will lessen their burden when it comes to benefit administration. As a seasoned benefits consultant and forward thinker, he is able to tailor a benefits package to fit the needs of his clients and their employees.

Coby is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences. Outside of the office, Coby is an active member of Bridgeway Church and enjoys spending time with his family on the lake and playing golf. He married his wife, Jennifer, in 2001 and together they have two children, Kiersten and Caleb.
