Charles Spitzer

Charles Spitzer is a Managing Director at Higginbotham, specializing in captive insurance solutions. He joined Higginbotham in 2020 through its partnership with Captive Insurance Group, bringing 45 years of professional experience in accounting, risk management and insurance.

In his role, Charles assesses the feasibility of utilizing captive insurance companies to help businesses manage operational risks. He oversees the implementation and ongoing management of legal and tax compliance aspects, working to ensure that each captive insurance company operates effectively and in full regulatory compliance.

Charles earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1977. Active in his community, Charles participates in church-led service initiatives that support local needs.
