Chad Spitzer

Chad Spitzer is a Managing Director at Higginbotham. He joined the company through its partnership with Captive Insurance Group in 2020.

In his role, Chad oversees the formation, regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations of captive insurance companies. He also helps design custom insurance programs, monitor claims activity and provide ongoing reporting and governance support. In addition to captive management, Chad helps oversee Higginbotham’s reinsurance risk pool, working to ensure proper underwriting, premium allocation and claims handling across participants.

Chad’s philosophy for client service is rooted in proactive communication, transparency and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value. He views each captive not just as a compliance exercise, but as a strategic tool to help clients gain greater control over their risk, improve cash flow and ultimately enhance their financial strength.

Before entering the workforce, Chad attended Brigham Young University, where he received a degree in finance.

Chad is an active member of his faith community. He has served in a variety of volunteer leadership roles focused on teaching, mentoring and coordinating service efforts to support individuals and families in both spiritual and practical ways.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. He is an avid fan of all DFW sports and enjoys continuing to play hockey into his old age. He also enjoys spending time on the golf course.
