Ben Stine specializes in property and casualty insurance and surety bonds for commercial and industrial contractors. With over a decade of experience, he has built a strong reputation for innovation, strategic relationship management and business growth. Known for his expertise in construction insurance, risk management and bonds, Ben serves as a trusted advisor to his clients.
Ben joined McElveen Insurance in 2014 and in 2022, the agency partnered with Higginbotham. Prior to that, he worked as a producer at BancorpSouth Insurance. Before entering the insurance industry, Ben gained valuable experience in project management and estimating for a large commercial general contractor in Louisiana.
Committed to giving back to the industry, Ben has served as a board member and chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Southwest Louisiana, the Louisiana Homebuilders Association and the Homebuilders Self-Insurance Fund Workers’ Compensation program. He has also served as an advisor to Stine Home & Yard’s board of directors.
Ben holds a degree in construction management from Louisiana State University.
