Andy Coonrod

In his role at Higginbotham, Andy Coonrod helps develop strategies to mitigate risk and cost increases while increasing the value of employee benefits to organizations and their employees. Andy specializes in understanding a client’s specific data and needs to provide the right solutions, strategies and plans to implement.

Andy puts himself in his clients’ shoes every day, working to protect what’s essential and valuable to organizations and their employees, and anticipating their questions before they’re asked. He believes in following through and communicating clearly; every decision deserves a complete answer with thoughtful advice, not a partial one.

Prior to joining Higginbotham in 2026, Andy served as a Producing Leader at Gallagher, where he worked for seven years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Texas Tech University.

Andy and his wife, Katie, live in Cypress with their Australian Shepherd, Benny. They enjoy spending time outdoors and being active.
