Strategic Advisor
Andrew Reutter is an accomplished executive with deep expertise in financial strategy, capital markets and operational leadership. As a Strategic Advisor at Higginbotham, Andrew is pivotal in guiding the firm’s growth, focusing on financial optimization, operational excellence and scalable innovation—while preserving the culture that defines Higginbotham’s success.
Before joining Higginbotham, Andrew spent over 17 years at Stone Point Capital, building and leading the company’s capital markets division, among other things. During that time, he was the only non-employee member of Higginbotham’s Board of Directors and was deeply involved in shaping the firm’s vision on capital structure formation, financial strategy and its growth trajectory.
Now serving as a board member and executive leader, Andrew’s dual perspective enables him to bridge long-term strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution. He brings a unique blend of board-level insight and operational acumen. Andrew’s strategic priorities include enhancing process efficiency, leveraging AI and automation, and strengthening the firm’s financial and operational infrastructure to support continued expansion, both organically and through partnerships. He champions Higginbotham’s employee ownership model, recognizing it as a key differentiator that drives accountability, alignment and long-term value creation.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in finance.
