Brent Allred

After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in risk management and insurance, Brent began pursuing a career in transportation insurance and risk management. He helps transportation and logistics businesses identify, transfer and mitigate risk and improve safety. Brent is a skilled negotiator who brings value to his clients through education, strong relationships with carriers and proactive, transparent communication.

As a Managing Partner and Transportation Practice Leader at Higginbotham, Brent’s efforts span over 85 locations, comprise more than 40 team members and represent annual premiums of over $355 million. He has achieved top production levels year after year.

Brent previously served on the Research Advisory Committee for the American Transportation Research Institute. He received Business Insurance Magazine’s 2023 Break Out Award and was one of Insurance Journal’s 2023 Agents of the Year.
