Mike Knotts

Danny “Mike” Knotts is a Managing Partner at Higginbotham. He joined the company in 2020 through its partnership with Cobbs, Allen and Hall.

As a member of Higginbotham’s Managing Partner team, Mike assists with providing input on the day-to-day running of the business. He began with a group captive team of two people and no placements of internal clients in captives when he joined Higginbotham and has since assisted the firm in growing to 250+ captive clients. Mike believes in being friends with his clients, and those relationships allow him to help his clients with anything they may need.

Mike attended Northwestern State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986. While in college, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

Ever since he was a child, Mike has always been involved in his community. He was heavily involved in his church and ran the youth ministry for years. While at Higginbotham, Mike has been able to expand his community involvement.
