Jake Kirkpatrick

Jake Kirkpatrick is a Managing Partner at Higginbotham, where he oversees operations, business strategy, and the overall management of the firm’s Texas region. With more than a decade of experience, he also serves as a commercial property and casualty broker, helping businesses assess risk and secure tailored coverage with top insurance carriers.

Jake began his career at Higginbotham in 2013 as a property and casualty associate in Fort Worth. In 2016, he relocated to Austin, where he spent four years growing his client base and business. His leadership role expanded in 2020 when he became the Office Leader for the Austin office, and in 2022, he was named Managing Partner.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, Jake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management in 2010. During his time at TCU, he was a standout athlete, contributing to a victory in the Rose Bowl Game, earning two All-American honors, being honored as a Lombardi Award finalist and receiving the prestigious Rimington Trophy for the top center in college football. In 2022, he was inducted into the TCU Hall of Fame.

Beyond his professional career, Jake is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the boards of the Central Texas Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Rise School of San Antonio. He also volunteers with Young Life Africa, Zoe Project Africa and various homeless outreach programs in Austin. He lives in Austin with his wife Callie and their two children.
