Jared Miller

Jared Miller brings a diverse background in financial planning and professional sports to his current role at Higginbotham Financial. His career began with a five-year stint as a baseball player in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, including a year spent on the major league roster at the AAA level. After retiring from professional baseball, Jared transitioned to the finance industry, where he honed his skills as a mortgage banker specializing in residential mortgages. Now, as a life insurance associate, he uses his passion for helping others to create personalized solutions that meet his clients’ needs.

Jared is a licensed life and health insurance and property and casualty agent. He earned a bachelor’s degree in enterprise and finance from Vanderbilt University, where he played college baseball and was a member of the 2014 national championship team. He continues to use his baseball skills as a pitching and hitting coach for more than 30 Newport-area children.

In his free time, Jared enjoys being outside, spending time with loved ones and meeting new people. He is a member of the Balboa Bay Club and the Newport Harbor Yacht Club and lives in Newport, California, with his wife, Devon, and their son.
