Michael K. Parks

Michael co-founded Higginbotham’s Financial Services Division in 1989 when he joined the firm. As President of Financial Services, he oversees the services provided by the firm’s financial services teams, including employee benefits, worksite benefits, life insurance and retirement plans, executive compensation and Higginbotham’s in-house administrative services and subject matter experts. He is a trusted advisor for his clients, managing the sale, implementation and servicing of large regional and national employer groups’ benefits plans.

As a seasoned consultant and natural leader, Michael is instrumental in developing partnerships with Higginbotham’s carriers and service providers to keep abreast of industry developments and trends.

Before joining Higginbotham, Michael worked for C.M. Alliance in life and health sales.

A Texas Christian University alum, Michael is a member of both the National Association of Life Underwriters and the Association of Health Insurance Agents and holds a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designation. He is licensed in Life, Accident, Health & HMO and Property & Casualty.
